HSVA recently hosted a meeting of the Specialist Committee on "Combined Experimental and Computational Fluid Dynamics (EFD and CFD) Methods" of the International Towing Tank Conference (ITTC) in Hamburg.
The International Towing Tank Conference (ITTC) is a worldwide independent association of hydrodynamics research organisations which promotes research and development in the field of marine hydrodynamics. The specialist committee focuses on the standardisation and validation of combined CFD and experimental methods for ship and offshore hydrodynamics.
The meeting was a great opportunity for experts in the field to come together, share their research and discuss new developments, making progress in a number of important points. It was a pleasure for HSVA represented by committee member Peter Horn, to host colleagues from around the world.
Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting and made it such a success. We look forward to continuing the international cooperation within ITTC.
